About the Role

Our client, a leading urban planning and design firm based in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico , is seeking a visionary Arquitecto/a de Diseño Urbano y Paisajismo . This role is pivotal in shaping the future of urban spaces, focusing on creating sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments. You will lead the design process for large-scale urban development projects, integrating landscape architecture principles to enhance public spaces and ecological systems. The idóneo candidate will have a profound understanding of urban dynamics, community needs, and environmental considerations, combined with a strong design sensibility. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and planning of urban development projects, including master planning, public spaces, and streetscapes. Integrate landscape architecture principles to create functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments. Develop conceptual designs, site plans, and detailed landscape designs. Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments. Collaborate with engineers, architects, city planners, and community stakeholders. Ensure designs comply with zoning regulations, building codes, and sustainability goals.



Prepare presentations and reports to communicate design proposals to clients and the public. Oversee the implementation of landscape and urban design projects.

Requirements

Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in urban design and landscape architecture projects. Demonstrated experience in leading the design of complex urban development and public space projects. Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS software). Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and environmental design strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape materials. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment in Tlalnepantla .
