About the Role

Our client, a prominent construction and development firm operating in Torreón, Coahuila , is seeking a meticulous and analytical Arquitecto/a Técnico/a de Mediciones y Presupuestos . This role is integral to ensuring the financial viability and accurate cost management of construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs, analyzing costs, and developing comprehensive budgets for a variety of projects. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing, combined with exceptional analytical skills. Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Analyze project requirements and research material and labor costs to develop accurate budgets.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and report on budget variances.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost control.
- Review and validate subcontractor bids and change order proposals.
- Maintain a database of costs for materials, labor,



and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and contractual requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or construction budgeting.
- Proven experience in preparing detailed measurements and cost estimations for construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Presto, Opus, AutoCAD, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
