About the Role

Our client, a multinational corporation with operations across several continents, is seeking a highly knowledgeable and proactive Remote Specialist in Global Cleaning and Hygiene Protocols. This fully remote role is critical for developing, standardizing, and overseeing cleaning and sanitization procedures across all company facilities worldwide. The Specialist will leverage expertise in infectious disease prevention, best practices in environmental services, and regulatory compliance to create robust protocols. Key Responsibilities

Research, develop, and document comprehensive global cleaning and sanitization protocols for various types of facilities (offices, manufacturing sites, R&D; labs, retail spaces). Analyze existing cleaning practices in different regions and identify areas for improvement or standardization. Ensure all developed protocols align with international health standards, industry best practices (e.g., WHO, CDC guidelines), and relevant local regulations. Create training materials and guides for regional facility management teams and cleaning staff on the implementation of global protocols. Conduct virtual assessments and audits of cleaning effectiveness in different locations through remote monitoring and reporting mechanisms. Advise on the selection of appropriate cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment suitable for diverse operational needs and environmental considerations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Health & Safety, Facilities Management,



and Operations, to integrate cleaning protocols into broader corporate policies. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and scientific advancements in cleaning, disinfection, and infection control. Serve as a subject matter expert on cleaning and hygiene for the organization globally. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and compliance of implemented protocols.

Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent advanced study in Public Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing and implementing cleaning and hygiene protocols, preferably on a large, multi-site scale or internationally. In-depth knowledge of infectious disease transmission, disinfection science, and environmental sanitation principles. Experience with regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions is highly advantageous. Proven ability to create clear, concise, and actionable documentation (protocols, training materials). Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Fluent in Spanish and English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a global workload effectively.
