About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of industrial automation solutions, is seeking a talented Ingeniero de Diseño Mecánico to join their team in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico . This role focuses on the mechanical design of automated systems, robotics, and specialized machinery for various industrial applications. You will be involved in the entire design process, from conceptualization and detailed design to integration and testing. The position offers a hybrid work model, providing flexibility while ensuring essential on-site collaboration with controls engineers, project managers, and production teams. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for industrial automation projects using CAD software.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for automated machinery.
- Perform kinematic analysis, stress calculations, and other engineering analyses to ensure design integrity and performance.
- Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes for automation equipment.
- Collaborate closely with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical designs with control systems.
- Support prototype development, assembly,



testing, and commissioning of automated systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during design, manufacturing, and operation.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and industry best practices for automation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on automation, robotics, or special machinery.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Inventor.
- Experience with kinematic simulation and analysis tools.
- Understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, and actuators is a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials relevant to automated equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
