About the Role

Our client, a cutting-edge educational technology company, is seeking a talented Especialista en Experiencia de Usuario (UX) para Plataformas Educativas to join their dynamic team. This role, based out of Tijuana, Baja California , will focus on designing intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences for their suite of online learning tools and platforms. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, conducting research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with design and development teams to bring user-centered solutions to life. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand learner and educator needs.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows to guide design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile educational applications.
- Collaborate closely with UI designers to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing user interface.
- Work with product managers and engineers to translate user insights into actionable design specifications.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and usability testing results.
- Stay current with the latest UX trends, best practices,



and technologies in the EdTech space.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design, with a significant focus on digital products, preferably in the EdTech sector.
- Proven experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency with UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent visual design skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating successful UX design projects, particularly in educational contexts.
- Familiarity with the development process and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of the local market in Tijuana, Baja California is beneficial.
