About the Role

Our client, a global leader in aerospace innovation, is seeking a highly qualified Ingeniero de Sistemas de Soporte Vital para Aeronaves to join their team on a fully remote basis. This critical role will focus on the design, development, testing, and certification of environmental control systems (ECS) and other life support technologies for aircraft. The adecuado candidate will possess extensive knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, human factors, and relevant aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop advanced environmental control systems, oxygen systems, fire suppression systems, and other life support equipment for aircraft applications.
- Perform complex system analysis, including thermodynamic, pneumatic, and hydraulic modeling, to optimize performance and reliability.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software and other relevant tools.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of system components and integrated systems, both virtually and through collaboration with test facilities.
- Ensure all designs and products comply with stringent aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, program management, and other engineering disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues, providing technical expertise and solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, certification documentation,



and presentations for internal reviews and regulatory bodies.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in life support systems and aerospace environmental controls.
- Manage project tasks and timelines effectively in a remote work environment.

Requirements

- Master's degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field with a specialization in thermodynamics or fluid mechanics.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the design and development of aerospace systems, with a specific focus on environmental control or life support systems.
- Proven expertise in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS).
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) for generating engineering designs.
- In-depth understanding of human physiology and environmental factors affecting flight crews and passengers.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with aerospace certification processes and regulatory requirements (FAA Part 25, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with project management principles is a plus.
