Payroll Operations – Senior Consultant – Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX)

As an experienced Payroll Operations Senior Consultant you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX) leverages scale and talent to provide high quality, cost-effective service to our clients.

Work you’ll do / Responsibilities

At Deloitte, you’ll collaborate with top professionals to solve complex problems. In this role, you will leverage your technical proficiency, business acumen, and communication skills to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Payroll Operations – Senior Consultant you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Consulting LLP and the Human Capital Portfolio through:

- Serves as a subject matter contact for payroll and ensures timely payroll operations.
- Regularly reviews team performance.
- Ensures clear assignments to payroll team members.
- Ensures governance and reporting, both internal and external.
- Communicates regularly with key stakeholders (site leaders, HRBPs, payroll leadership) on team needs, operational planning and execution, and assists in problem resolution.

Qualifications

Required

- 6-10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.
- Completion of course of study (egresado) in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or any pertinent field or industry, or equivalent years of experience.
- Advanced English level.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in US payroll domain and processes.
- Extensive experience in either Oracle, SAP, or Workday HCM cloud payroll applications.
- Strong understanding of process KPIs.
- Strong experience with SLA/KPI reporting for external and internal stakeholders.
- Experience managing and leading teams.
- Good to have transition experience and well-versed in transition documents.
- Able to act as an SME, KT lead, or transition lead.

Preferred

- Capability to train the team and prepare them for the ramp-up phase.
- Knowledge of measuring and maintaining process quality and accuracy.
- Good understanding of, and some exposure to,



process improvement initiatives or levers (RPA, AI, automation, standardization, elimination, etc.).
- Managing project initiatives.
- Able to coordinate and lead between client, onshore, and India teams.
