Location: San Luis Potosi

As a Tier 1 supplier and aftermarket supplier, we are recognised for providing innovative solutions that contribute to the safety and performance of vehicles worldwide.

We are now looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our team in San Luis Potosi.

The role

As Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), your will contribute to the organization by ensuring that direct suppliers deliver components and materials in accordance with international quality standards and Flexitech’s own standards. This is achieved through supplier performance evaluations, audits, quality issue management, and oversight of incoming material inspection activities.

In this position, your key responsibilities will be to:

- Evaluate, approve, and develop new and existing suppliers
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, etc.)
- Ensure timely compliance with APQP, PPAP, CQI, EMRT, CMRT, PSCR, and ECR requirements
- Analyze and follow up on supplier non-conformities (8D, A3, root cause analysis)
- Conduct supplier audits (system, process, and product)
- Monitor supplier quality performance using KPIs
- Coordinate containment activities at the plant, customer, and supplier sites
- Ensure the proper implementation of engineering changes with suppliers
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Logistics departments
- Ensure the monitoring and control of SCR, SC, CC, etc.
- Manage and control quarantine processes

Travel

You must be able to travel regularly outside the country on a regular basis and hold a US visa.

About you:

To be successful in this role,



we need you to have some of the following:

- Essential: English fluency (C1-C2 level)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SQE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with problem-solving tools
- Certified as an internal auditor for IATF 16949
- Preferably certified as an internal auditor for VDA 6.3
- Knowledge of BIQS requirements
- Knowledge of MSA and Ford Q1
- Knowledge of CQI-9, CQI-11, CQI-12, and CQI-19
- Demonstrated PPAP training.
- Experience using the IMDS portal
