About the role
The Materials Planning Specialist supports supply and demand planning activities to help ensure product availability, efficient order fulfillment, and alignment between customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities. This role works closely with Customer Service, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and other internal teams to coordinate order management, monitor supply and demand, and support continuous improvements in planning processes and customer delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
As a Materials Planning Specialist, you'll be responsible for: Coordinate customer order management activities, monitoring order status, product availability, and delivery commitments to support customer satisfaction.



Support supply and demand planning activities by reviewing forecasts, actual customer orders, inventory positions, and production capacity. Monitor planning performance indicators, identify potential supply or delivery risks, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders. Support the standardization and continuous improvement of materials planning, order fulfillment, and SIOP processes to improve operational efficiency and delivery reliability. Experience in customer service, order management, materials planning, supply planning, or a related role within a manufacturing environment. Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze order status, inventory availability, demand information, and delivery commitments to support planning decisions. Experience with Materials Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, or SIOP processes. Familiarity with ERP systems and tools used for order management, inventory monitoring, and supply planning. Experience with performance indicators, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
