Job Description Primary Function of Position: The Cost Accounting Analyst I supports cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment by preparing accurate and timely financial information for operational and management decision-making.
This position assists with product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing variance analysis, month-end close, and cost reporting in accordance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and established procedures.
The role works closely with Cost Accounting, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to maintain accurate cost information and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
