Romero & Braas is a film, TV and streaming production company headquartered in Mexico City, with operations in Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. We provide production services to international projects and are building our own slate of original formats from Latin America for the general market. We combine European precision with local execution and access. The role We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in finance and management control and close to audiovisual production: someone who turns numbers into decisions and decisions into execution. You will work as a peer to the Head of Production and closely with the partners. What you will do
• Own the company P&L;: monthly actuals against plan, every variance explained.
• Company-wide financial control: reporting consistency, cash flow and tax exposure.
• 6 to 12 month revenue and cash forecast, with a probability-weighted pipeline.
• Pricing and margin rules by project type and country, plus a margin review at wrap.
• Business cases with expected return and exit criteria for every significant investment.
• Client acquisition control: leads, calls per month and call-to-bid conversion.
• Turn strategy into annual objectives per area and assess new markets and countries. What we are looking for
• Strategic thinking and the flexibility to move between analysis and execution.
• Proven P&L; responsibility for a company or business unit, not only project budgets.
• Experience in forecasting and pricing in project-based businesses.
• Familiarity with audiovisual or media (TV, streaming, film, advertising, live events).
• Mexican tax knowledge, including VAT (IVA) refunds; multi-country experience a plus.
• Negotiation-level Spanish and English. German is a plus.
• ERP experience, we use Odoo, and the drive to build processes, not just run them.
• Advanced use of AI tools to automate reporting, analysis and processes.
• Ownership: you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. What we especially value
• Having built new markets or business lines.
• Exposure to US and European clients and projects.
• A hands-on attitude: you delegate and supervise, and you also execute when it is needed.
