The role requires proactive incident management, platform automation, observability engineering, reliability governance, and continuous service improvement aligned to SRE principles. Key Expectations
• Provide L3/L4 production support for business-critical applications.
• Lead Major Incident Management (P1/P2) and service restoration activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent fixes.
• Identify recurring issues and implement automation-based solutions.
• Improve operational stability and reduce manual interventions.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python and/or Bash.
• Improve platform reliability, resilience, and scalability.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch and tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
• Reduce MTTR, MTTD, and operational toil.
• Drive reliability reviews and risk assessments.
• Establish proactive monitoring and alerting standards.
