The Go Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and operation of scalable, resilient microservices that power customer-facing and internal technology products.
This role drives backend architecture and distributed systems strategy while also contributing to modern, responsive front-end applications.You will serve as a technical anchor for our service-oriented architecture, leading the design of independently deployable services in Go and driving high availability, performance, and observability standards across the organization.
The adecuado candidate brings deep expertise in microservice architecture, API design, inter-service communication, and cloud-native.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of scalable, resilient microservices using Go, setting patterns and standards for the broader engineering teamDefine and maintain clear API contracts (REST and/or event-driven interfaces) between servicesArchitect distributed systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and fault toleranceImplement inter-service communication patterns (synchronous and asynchronous)Design and manage service-level database schemas and data ownership modelsBuild and maintain responsive front-end components that consume backend servicesImplement observability practices including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alertingLead code reviews, mentor engineers across experience levels, and champion engineering best practices organization-widePartner cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, product, and design teams; serve as a technical liaison and contribute to roadmap and architecture decisionsDocument service architecture, APIs,



and operational proceduresRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience3+ years of experience building and operating production backend services in GoStrong experience designing and implementing microservice architecturesExperience building RESTful APIs and/or event-driven servicesDeep understanding of distributed systems concepts (service discovery, load balancing, circuit breaking, retries, idempotency)Experience with synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns (HTTP/gRPC, messaging systems)Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases in a service-oriented architectureDeep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including managed services, IAM, and infrastructure-as-codeStrong debugging, performance tuning, and production support experienceStrong problem-solving skills and architectural judgmentExcellent communication skills and collaborative mindsetStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityDemonstrated ability to mentor engineers and elevate team technical capability.ADVANCED ENGLISH IS A MUST , you won't be considered if your are not fluent thank you!
