Objective of the position
Support in planning, introducing and improving complex logistical processes related to all modes of transport.
Principal activities
Support Transport Planning team with the following activities:
Cooperate in developing integrated optimization proposals for transportation and assure their implementation
Cooperate in data collection on the capacity and resource planning in each transportation network
Create and improve Transportation flows
Set up and support the logistics functions (e.g. in the production plants, at launch, in the supply chain, in transport- and container management, etc.)
Work with customers and suppliers with regard to departmental topics
Determine logistics costs (e.g. for bids, containers, transports, etc.)
Create documentation (e.g. packaging data sheets, requirements manuals, etc.) and presentation
Requirements:
Professional career : Bachelor’s degree in engineering/international business/business administration/ or related. Interested in Automotive logistics, project management, data analytics, statistics or similar field.
Relevant experience: Preferred at least 6 months in traffic, customs or import-export
English: Advanced level
