Air Import & Export Specialist

At CEVA Logistics, we are looking for a professional with experience in air import and export operations, focused on operational excellence, customs compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with national and international trade regulations.
- Oversee import and export operations to guarantee timely and efficient cargo movement.
- Plan, coordinate, and control international air freight operations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, suppliers, carriers, airlines, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor cargo receiving, handling, loading, and unloading activities at airports.
- Review commercial invoices, customs entries, certificates of origin, and other required shipping documentation.
- Ensure proper tariff classification and the accurate application of duties, taxes, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with applicable international trade and transportation regulations.
- Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and efficiency analyses.
- Develop cost estimates and expense projections for assigned accounts.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in logistics and import/export processes.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1 to 3 years in import operations and air logistics.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, trade agreements, and IATA standards.
- Experience using logistics management systems and customs platforms.
- Intermediate-advanced to advanced English proficiency.
- Strong organizational, analytical, operational follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills.
