Roof Depot is hiring a Field Construction Assistant to support residential new construction projects throughout the Greenville market.

This is a field-based position for someone interested in developing a long-term career in construction management.

You will work alongside experienced field construction managers, supporting daily roofing and siding operations across active residential communities.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and enjoys solving problems. The right candidate will be dependable, organized, and willing to learn.

Whether you are beginning your career or transitioning from another industry, this position offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to grow into greater responsibilities.

Construction experience is preferred but not required.

What You Will Do

- Visit active construction sites throughout the Greenville market.

- Assist field managers with daily scheduling and project coordination.

- Communicate with homebuilders, installation crews, and suppliers.

- Perform quality control inspections and document findings.

- Assist with safety inspections and jobsite compliance.

- Monitor material deliveries, shortages, and returns.

- Track installation progress and communicate scheduling issues.

- Support warranty inspections, punch lists, and project completion.

- Identify problems and help develop solutions to keep projects moving.

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Willingness to climb ladders, access rooftops, and lift up to 80 pounds.

- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements.

- Ability to successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

- Construction, logistics, warehouse, maintenance, landscaping, or similar hands-on experience.

- Experience coordinating people, schedules, or materials.

- Previous customer service or leadership experience.

- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
