# Cloud Solutions Architect — Technical Presales

About the Role

Huawei Cloud Mexico is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to help enterprise customers adopt and expand their use of public cloud services. Working with account managers and partners, you will understand customer priorities, design solutions, and lead technical engagements throughout the sales cycle. Experience in big data and AI is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead customer discovery to understand business objectives, existing IT environments, technical requirements, and decision criteria.

- Translate requirements into cloud architectures, selecting appropriate services and balancing performance, availability, security, scalability, and cost.

- Prepare solution proposals, architecture diagrams, sizing, and cost estimates that clearly explain customer value.

- Advise on cloud adoption and Landing Zone design, covering identity, networking, security, governance, and integration with existing environments.

- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and responses to RFPs.

- Define and support PoCs with customer-agreed success criteria, conducting hands-on validation and engaging specialists as needed.

- Work with sales teams to address technical objections and advance opportunities toward commercial adoption.

- Collaborate with partners on joint solutions and hand over agreed architectures and requirements to delivery teams.

### Required Qualifications

- At least 2 years of public cloud technical presales or customer-facing solution architecture experience; 3 years preferred.**

- Practical experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud,



or Huawei Cloud.

- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and independently develop suitable solution architectures.

- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical choices and business benefits to different audiences.

- Solid knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking, databases, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.

- Understanding of cloud adoption and Landing Zone principles, supported by participation in relevant customer projects.

- Ability to configure cloud services, demonstrate solutions, and validate key technical assumptions.

- Professional fluency in Spanish and working proficiency in English for technical discussions, documentation, and collaboration.

- Willingness to travel within Mexico for customer and partner engagements.

### Preferred Experience

- Big data and analytics: Experience designing or supporting data integration, data lakes, data warehouses, or analytics solutions; familiarity with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or managed cloud data services.

- AI: Experience with enterprise AI use cases, LLM services, RAG, knowledge assistants, or AI agents, including their data, integration, security, and cost considerations.

- Mexico market: Experience serving local enterprise customers or working with cloud partners, system integrators, managed service providers, or ISVs.

- Cloud modernization: Exposure to application modernization, database migration, containers, or infrastructure automation.
