Resumes to Senior SAP MDG Consultant (Master Data Governance) Location: Remote – Brazil, Mexico, or Colombia Employment Type: Contract / Project-Based Duration: 6 months, with potential extension Start Date: Mid-November **** Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), aligned with Brazil business hours Travel Requirements: Approximately 5% occasional onsite travel, as needed English Level: Advanced (B2 minimum; strong conversational proficiency required) Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant to support a large-scale, global SAP S/4HANA rollout and Master Data Management (MDM) transformation initiative .
The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and hands-on expertise in SAP MDG , particularly across Material, Customer, and Supplier Master Data , along with a solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and business process integration.
This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to support template-based SAP S/4HANA rollouts, conduct fit-gap assessments, translate business requirements into system configurations, and implement scalable master data governance solutions.




Candidates must be comfortable combining business-facing functional consulting with hands-on SAP MDG configuration and implementation activities in a complex, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP MDG solutions , focusing on Material, Customer, and Supplier Master Data.
Participate in general SAP S/4HANA rollout projects , ensuring alignment with established templates and master data governance standards.
Conduct business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and functional workshops with business stakeholders and process owners.
Translate business requirements into SAP MDG functional specifications, configurations, enhancements, and technical requirements .
Configure and maintain master data governance processes, workflows, validation rules, and business rules within SAP MDG.
Define and implement data quality rules, validation controls, and governance standards to ensure master data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Data Stewards, and technical teams to establish effective data ownership and stewardship processes.
Support integration between SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA , ensuring data consistency across relevant business processes.
Participate in functional testing, integration testing, data validation, issue resolution, and go-live preparation.
Support master data harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business units and countries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments and contribute to the ongoing evolution of enterprise-wide MDM capabilities.
