Acting as the primary point of contact for the designated RevGen team and customers, this role ensures accurate invoicing, timely payments, and resolution of billing discrepancies. The specialist also monitors key reports, analyzes data, and drives process improvements to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do

Financial Operations Support:Provide guidance to internal teams on upstream operational processes, including load building, EDI, accessorial management, and credit. Lead projects and process improvement initiatives that make these functions efficient and accurate.
Customer Onboarding:Own the financial and invoicing portion of onboarding. Ensure the CRM and internal SOPs capture invoicing requirements, accessorial reimbursement process, external system access, net terms, payment methods, customer contacts, and paperwork requirements. Monitor invoices for successful generation and troubleshoot as needed.
Invoicing Operations:Manage end-to-end invoicing, including document collection, invoice uploads, billing methods, and timely submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance with each customer's requirements.
Uninvoiced Revenue and Invoicing Failures:Monitor uninvoiced loads and invoice rejections, identify root causes, and resolve them quickly to keep revenue moving.
Load Building and EDI Accuracy:Partner with operations and internal sales teams to ensure loads are built correctly, required paperwork is captured, and EDI transmissions meet customer specifications.
Accessorial Management:Analyze accessorial charges, secure required approvals, and ensure charges are billed accurately and timely.
Sales Team Support:Collaborate with BizDev representatives to ensure timely responses to rate requests, accessorial approvals, and other time-sensitive tasks. Collaborate on collection initiatives and process improvements leading to more streamlined collection efforts.
Reporting and Process Analysis:Monitor key operational reports, analyze customer-level trends, and recommend process improvements to internal and external teams.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):Develop, document, and enforce SOPs for invoicing, load-building, and customer-specific requirements.
Cross-Team Collaboration:Partner with internal teams to resolve issues related to cash allocation, write-offs, etc.
Payment Discrepancy Resolution:Investigate and resolve short payments, overpayments, misapplied funds, and unapplied cash in collaboration with BizDev and Cash Application teams.
