Based in Mexico, you will act as the regional tax subject-matter expert, working closely with local finance teams, external advisors and regional leadership to keep our fast-growing LatAm business fully compliant and tax-efficient.

• Corporate income tax (ISR in Mexico, CIT equivalents in other markets)
• Withholding taxes on cross-border payments (royalties, services, dividends, interest)
• Import duties & customs-related taxes on cross-border shipments and local inventory
• Manage monthly/quarterly/annual tax filings and e-invoicing compliance, including Mexico's CFDI electronic invoicing regime and equivalent e-invoicing requirements in other markets (e.g. Colombia electronic invoicing, Chile DTE).
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting firms across the region: scope engagements, review deliverables, and ensure local filings are accurate, complete and on time. Tax Planning & Optimization
• Identify and implement tax efficiency opportunities, including applicable preferential regimes (e.g. Mexico IMMEX / maquiladora where relevant), tax incentives, and treaty benefits, always within a fully compliant framework.
• Support transfer pricing compliance for cross-border intercompany transactions, coordinating local transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking studies.
• Advise the business on tax implications of new market entry, sales channels (e-commerce marketplaces, retail, distributors), and supply chain structures across the region. Risk Management & Stakeholder Partnership
• Monitor changes in LatAm tax legislation and proactively assess impact on the business, escalating risks and recommending mitigation actions to regional leadership.
• Lead tax audit defense and manage tax authority inquiries across the region, coordinating responses and documentation with external counsel.
• Partner with finance, legal, supply chain and e-commerce teams to embed tax considerations into business decisions, commercial contracts and operational processes. Background
• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law or a related field (a professional qualification such as CPA, CA, or a local/regional tax certification is a plus)
• 5–10 years of tax experience, with meaningful exposure to Spanish-speaking Latin American markets
• Solid hands-on experience with at least one major LatAm market's tax system (Mexico strongly preferred), and working knowledge of others Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to translate complex tax rules into clear business guidance
• Excellent cross-cultural communication — able to work effectively with local teams, global stakeholders and external advisors
• High attention to detail and integrity, with a proactive, risk-aware mindset
• Ability to manage multiple markets, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
