Do Good Ventures: Fully remote, with hours that overlap US Mountain Time Read this first This role is not for a manager who hasn't placed a PO, built a forecast, or argued with a factory over a defect in years. If your best work now is running meetings and delegating to a team, stop here. There is no team to delegate to. We're looking for a supply chain operator who still loves doing the work. You can build a 12-month forecast in the morning, negotiate payment terms with a factory in China that night, and still care whether a carton label is right. You know strategy well, and you enjoy carrying it out yourself. Most of all, you understand cash. Our brands are growing 100%+ year over year, and fast growth eats cash. The person who wins in this role knows how to keep inventory flowing while protecting cash, and gets better terms and lower COGS with every PO. You'll also learn something most supply chain leaders won't learn for years. You'll run a function with AI agents instead of a stack of coordinators. We don't hire junior people to chase shipments and update spreadsheets. Agents do that work, and you'll direct them, check them, and keep improving them, so your time goes to suppliers, cash, and decisions. If that sounds exciting, keep reading. If it sounds like extra work you'd rather hand off, this isn't your role. The core outcome you will own Keep every brand in stock on every channel, at a landed cost that keeps going down, while managing cash through 100%+ year-over-year growth. You'll own purchase decisions and payment terms so we can move on POs quickly, without waiting on full finance approval each time. Who we are We operate a group of consumer brands that sell on DTC (Shopify) and Amazon, and we're beginning to explore retail. One brand is in the outdoor category, with manufacturing in China. Another is a natural skincare brand with in-house manufacturing and US contract manufacturers. You'll run supply chain for both. Our brands are growing 100%+ year over year, and we plan to reach $15-20M in revenue in the next 1
- 2 years. One of our brands is ready to scale fast, which will put real pressure on cash. That's a big part of why this role exists. You won't start from scratch We already have supply chain systems in place, including an inventory and forecasting tracker, supplier and payment trackers, and SOPs for recurring work. Some AI agents are already built and running, such as weekly inventory health alerts. You'll take all of it over, make it better, and hand more of the execution to agents over time. We'll help you build. Why this role is different
• You'll be an intrapreneur. Most of our team own their departments and run them as if the business were their own. You'll own supply chain the same way.
• You'll move fast. Most decisions get made the same day. If you see a better supplier, a better freight lane, or better terms, you make the case and we act on it that week.
• There's no bureaucracy. You won't wait on approval chains or deal with office politics. You'll report directly to the founder.
• You'll become fluent in AI agents. Our team leads already run much of their execution through agents and automations, and we'll help you do the same for supply chain.
• You'll work with smart, talented people and help make products that customers actually love.
• You'll keep learning and growing. If you love that, this is the right place for you.

What you'll own Cash, terms, and COGS (the most important part of this role)
• Own purchase decisions. Work with our finance lead on the monthly buying budget, then decide timing and size of each PO within it.
• Plan inventory around cash as well as demand. Know when to buy deeper, when to buy smaller and more often, and how each choice affects our cash position during fast growth.
• Improve payment terms with every factory and contract manufacturer over time, moving from deposits toward net terms as volume grows.
• Lower COGS across multiple POs through price negotiation, volume tiers, packaging and spec changes, and freight savings.
• Own landed cost per SKU and report it monthly against target. Planning and inventory
• Own the demand forecast and reorder rules for every SKU, by brand and channel.
• Run a monthly sales and operations planning meeting with the founder, operations, and finance.
• Keep in-stock rates high and days of inventory in range. Suppliers and manufacturing
• Manage our factories in China and our US contract manufacturers, including POs, production timelines, quality inspections, and MOQs.
• Work with our in-house skincare production on raw material and packaging supply.
• Lead product fixes with suppliers. Turn reviews, return reasons, and quality issues into spec changes, new samples, and updated BOMs.
• Reduce supplier risk. Keep a backup source for top SKUs, track tariffs and duties, and review China-plus-one options each year.
• Own the supply side of new launches, including samples, first PO, packaging and labels, inbound plan, and ship-by dates. Logistics and channels
• Run Amazon FBA and AWD inbound, capacity, inventory health, storage fees, and reimbursements.
• Own the 3PL relationship for DTC orders, including onboarding, receiving, accuracy, ship speed, and monthly invoice audits.
• Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, and import compliance.
• Set up the supply chain for retail as we expand into it.
• Own skincare compliance on the supply side, including batch and lot records, expiry tracking, and supplier safety documents. AI agents and systems
• Take over our existing trackers, SOPs, and agents, and keep improving them.
• Write down every recurring task as a clear process with decision rules, then hand it to an agent.
• Report a weekly scorecard covering in-stock rate, days of inventory, landed COGS against target, payment terms, on-time inbound, and 3PL accuracy. Requirements
• 7+ years in supply chain, including at least 3 years owning supply chain end to end for a consumer products brand.
• You've owned purchasing decisions and managed inventory against cash at a fast-growing company.
• You've negotiated better payment terms and lower costs with suppliers, and you can tell us the numbers.
• You've personally worked with US contract manufacturers.
• You've personally managed factories in China, including POs, quality control, inspections,

negotiation, and fixing defects.
• You've managed a 3PL for DTC orders.
• You know Amazon FBA well, including inbound, capacity limits, fees, and reimbursements.
• You're fluent in landed cost, COGS, and cash-flow planning.
• You use AI tools every week, or you're eager to learn fast and can tell us how you'd start.
• Strong pluses are retail supply chain experience, skincare or other regulated products, and experience at a brand growing past $10M. This role is NOT for you if
• You want to manage people more than you want to do the work.
• You need a team of coordinators to be effective.
• You think cash is finance's problem.
• You think AI is a fad, or something for someone else to figure out.
• You need detailed instructions or a fixed routine.
• You're used to waiting weeks for approvals and like it that way.
• You can't give us numbers from your last role.
• Problems in your past jobs were always someone else's fault. Our culture is Above the Line If you can commit to and live with these principles, then you're the type of person who will be successful and help our company thrive. If you feel this level of accountability is not right for you, that you're not willing or able to engage with us at this level and take the steps necessary to do what you say you are going to do and be accountable for your actions... In other words, live "Above the Line", then we are not a good fit and you don't belong here with us. We understand that not every person is ready for this level of commitment, and we appreciate the honesty of those who decide this is not the right place for them. • You'll work fully remote.
• Competitive pay, benchmarked to your location and experience.
