We're Hiring: Lead AI Engineer — Agentic AI & Cloud Backend ?

Mexico ? Position: Lead AI Engineer ? Build the next generation of intelligent, autonomous AI solutions We are looking for an experienced Lead AI Engineer to drive the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced Agentic AI solutions. In this role, you will combine hands-on engineering, cloud architecture, and technical leadership to build scalable AI-powered systems that automate the processing, editing, and validation of digital assets. You'll work with cutting-edge AI technologies, distributed backend systems, and cloud-native infrastructure while helping shape engineering best practices.

What You'll Do
• Design and develop AI agents and workflows integrating LLMs, VLMs, and specialized APIs.
• Build production-ready AI agents with tool calling, structured outputs, context management, and guardrails.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and asynchronous programming.
• Architect distributed, event-driven systems using AWS, SQS, EventBridge, and serverless technologies.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate third-party AI services and self-hosted models.
• Implement automated testing, AI evaluations, observability,



and security controls.
• Lead technical architecture decisions and mentor engineers. What We're Looking For
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, asynchronous programming, and API development.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents and LLM-powered applications in production.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, queues, retries, and fault tolerance.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, automated testing, observability, and security best practices.
• Proven technical leadership and architecture experience.
• Advanced English proficiency for technical discussions and collaboration. Nice to Have
• Experience with Vision-Language Models (VLMs), image processing, or document automation.
• GPU inference and self-hosted AI model deployment.
• TypeScript and React.
• AI cost, token usage, and latency optimization.
• Human-in-the-loop AI workflows.
• AWS or cloud architecture certifications.
