About the Role
We are seeking an autonomous, highly organized Senior Logistics Coordinator / Specialist with 5+ years of experience to manage our critical export operations from North America to our Asian markets. Based out of Mexico, you will act as the operational anchor for these lanes, reporting directly to our Head of Operations in the USA, with dedicated operational support from our team in India.

Key Responsibilities




• Oversee day-to-day maritime freight operations, container bookings, and equipment positioning originating in the USA and Canada with final destinations in India, Malaysia, and Japan.
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for North American ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and internal US leadership.
• Collaborate daily with our India-based support team to manage documentation, customs data entry, and track shipments across time zones.
• Proactively troubleshoot transit delays, customs issues, and carrier rollings to ensure seamless port-to-port execution.
• Maintain meticulous records of shipping documentation (BLs, export declarations, certificates of origin) required for both North American exports and Asian import clearances.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in international maritime freight forwarding, shipping operations, or cross-border traffic management.
• Proven experience managing export logistics out of US and Canadian ports; familiarity with Asian customs protocols is a strong plus.
• Absolute fluency in English (both written and spoken) to coordinate effectively with US management and the India support team.
• Strong capability to work independently under a US-based manager within a integral matrix environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills under tight maritime shipping cut-offs.
