Responsibilities:
• Provide technical advice on the interpretation and application of the Federal Labor Law, related regulations and provisions, as well as international conventions ratified by Mexico.
• Carry out studies, diagnoses, and analyses on working conditions, employment, wages, social security, and compliance with employer and safety and hygiene obligations.
• Participate in the preparation, review, and updating of policies, programs, guidelines, and technical and regulatory materials in labor and social welfare matters.
• Promote and coordinate inspection, verification, and monitoring of compliance with labor regulations in conjunction with the corresponding Management and other competent authorities.
• Collaborate in the attention of labor disputes, conciliations, and administrative procedures, providing technical and legal support for the timely resolution.
• Design and deliver training, workshops, and informational materials aimed at employers, workers, and administrative units to promote compliance with labor rights and obligations.
• Prepare technical reports,



inspection reports, minutes, and statistical and administrative reports required by the unit and by higher instances.
• Participate in working groups, inter-institutional committees, and in the linkage with business organizations, trade unions, and civil society organizations for the implementation of labor policies.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of programs and projects, proposing continuous improvement measures.
• Keep the regulations, jurisprudence and administrative criteria relevant to their area of work up to date. Required
• Professional with a degree in Law, Social Sciences, Labor Relations, Public Administration, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of Mexican labor law, social security, and STPS programs and policies.
• Previous experience in the public sector, labor legal advice, inspection, or public policy design (preferred).
• Analytical skills, technical writing, oral communication, negotiation, and teamwork.
• Ability to prepare reports, policy documents and executive presentations.
• Mastery of office tools and, if required, management of databases and administrative systems.
