Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.
This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. Role Purpose The Senior Planner develops solutions to a wide range of technical problems and guides the successful completion of projects. This role applies extensive expertise and knowledge of related disciplines to address complex challenges,



support programs and projects, and provide solutions to difficult technical issues for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Achieve defined goals within established time, cost, and quality criteria while making effective resource allocation decisions.
• Develop creative technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and sound judgment.
• Contribute to the successful completion of programs and projects and provide solutions to difficult technical issues for internal and external customers.
• Provide feedback and coaching to others, develop and deliver training when required, and maintain confidentiality of information and materials. Experiences/Education
- Required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Considerable job content knowledge.
• Ability to develop solutions to complex technical problems using ingenuity and creativity.
• Ability to work toward established time, cost, and quality goals.
• Ability to make resource allocation decisions.
