We are looking for a Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring product and process compliance through the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Welding department. This role will be responsible for defining, documenting, monitoring, and improving the quality system, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring compliance with customer and internal quality requirements. Key Responsabilities:
• Activities on SCRAP control, defective rate, 8D and root cause analysis on lines on charge.
• Lead kaizen improvement ideas focused on productivity and cost reduction.
• Coordinate, maintain and improve the quality management system (customer-oriented, support and management process).
• Coordinate internal, external and customer audits, and lead the closure of non-conformities.
• Promote quality culture based on applicable international standards (ISO 9001).
• Coordinate document control.
• Lead root cause analysis and action plan to respond nonconformities for ISO 9001.
• Perform audits, including closing findings, creating results reports, and determining appropriate corrective and preventive actions.




• Coordinate incoming inspection area.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field
• 3 years of Quality Engineering experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Core Tools knowledge.
• Strong computer skills-Microsoft Office
• Intermediate English (able to maintain conversation). Preferred

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), with Level II certifications in VT, UT, MT, and PT.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols (AWS A2.4), with a strong understanding of AWS standards and requirements.
• Measurement Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in the use of inspection and measurement tools, including welding fillet gauges, Bridge Cam gaug
• Certified ISO 9001.
• Lead auditor (desired)
• Experience on metrology (GD&T;, Metrology training).
• LEAN/Six Sigma knowledge.
• Problem solving training (8D, DMAIC, PDCA, A3).
