Job Title: Optical Engineer
Location: Monterrey, Mexico
Type of Contract: Full-time, permanent

- 1. Optical Design and Development of Lighting Systems
Design and optimization of optical surfaces (lenses, reflectors, light guides) in CAD to achieve required photometric performance, homogeneity, efficiency, and styling targets.
- 2. Optical Simulations and Performance Optimization,Execution of optical simulations (ray tracing) to validate light distribution,



intensity, efficiency, and uniformity.
Analysis, interpretation, and continuous optimization of optical performance based on simulation results.
- 3. Photometric Performance and Light Appearance Assessment,Evaluation of beam patterns, luminance distribution, hotspot control, gradients, and overall light appearance to ensure compliance with functional, aesthetic, and customer requirements.
- 4. Technical Ownership of Optical Concept
Responsibility for optical concept robustness throughout the development process, ensuring alignment between simulation, design intent, and final product performance.

Desired Profile

- Bachelor with experience or Master degree in engineering/optics
- English speaking requiredUp to 3 years of experienceCATIA, Light Tools, rendering software, GOM Inspect, MS Office,Complete realization of at least 1 project (from design phase to serial production)
