Required Skills
3–5 years of automotive exterior lighting experience.
LucidShape, Ansys Speos, Zemax, or equivalent optical simulation software.
Optical design involving reflectors, lenses, light guides, or thick-wall optics.
Geometric optics, photometry, and light-distribution analysis.
Knowledge of automotive lighting photometric requirements.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, physical lamp testing, ECE/SAE/FMVSS/CCC regulations, and injection-molded optical components.
Pay Scale
Anticipated hourly pay range:
$18/hr to $21/hr All inclusive without Benefits
