About the RoleOur client, a prominent organization in the rapidly growing esports industry, is seeking an experienced and strategic Director de Operaciones de Esports to lead their operations in Zapopan, Jalisco.
This key role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of esports teams, tournament participation, player development programs, and strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the esports ecosystem, strong operational management skills, and a passion for competitive gaming.
You will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's success and expanding its presence in the vibrant esports market of Jalisco.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a dynamic and exciting industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the management and performance of multiple professional esports teams across various game titles.Develop and implement strategies for team recruitment, player development, and coaching.Manage budgets, operational logistics, and resource allocation for esports operations.Coordinate participation in national and international esports tournaments and leagues.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with game publishers, sponsors, and other industry stakeholders.Ensure a high standard of player welfare, including physical and mental health support.Develop and execute strategies for content creation and fan engagement.Monitor industry trends, identify new opportunities, and drive innovation within the organization.Manage operational staff, including team managers, coaches,



and support personnel.Ensure compliance with all relevant league rules, regulations, and ethical standards.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in esports management, operations, or a related field.Proven track record of successfully managing esports teams and operations.Deep understanding of the global esports landscape, including major titles, leagues, and trends.Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.Experience with budget management and financial oversight.Passion for gaming and a solid understanding of competitive gaming culture.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes.Willingness to travel and work versátil hours, including evenings and weekends, in Zapopan, Jalisco .
