Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) and food safety protocols applicable to remote manufacturing oversight.
- Define quality benchmarks, testing procedures, and acceptance criteria for manufactured goods produced under remote supervision.
- Conduct virtual audits and assessments of remote operational sites and processes to ensure adherence to QMS and safety standards.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential quality and safety issues in distributed manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to integrate quality control measures into remote workflows and digital platforms.
- Train and guide remote teams on quality assurance best practices, safety procedures, and the use of quality monitoring tools.
- Analyze quality data from remote operations to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage documentation related to quality control, product specifications, and compliance records for remote manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues from remote teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with a significant portion in manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
