Continuous Improvement Specialist - CI Leadership Development Program

About the Opportunity

At Tenneco, we are looking for driven, hands-on professionals to join our Continuous Improvement Leadership Development Program.

This opportunity is designed for high-potential individuals with strong manufacturing experience, a passion for operational excellence, and the ambition to grow into future leadership roles.

Selected candidates will participate in a structured development journey combining specialized training in the United States, hands-on plant assignments, coaching from experienced leaders, and real-world improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, operational efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through direct engagement with manufacturing operations and shop floor teams.
- Lead Kaizen activities, root cause analysis, and problem-solving initiatives.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies and standardized work practices.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to achieve measurable improvements.
- Monitor operational KPIs and ensure the sustainability of implemented solutions.
- Support the development of a continuous improvement culture through coaching and employee engagement.

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.




- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
- 3+ years of experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience delivering measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, or cost reduction.
- Knowledge of Lean tools, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and root cause analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change.
- A practical, hands-on mindset with a strong commitment to shop floor execution.
- Leadership potential, adaptability, resilience, and a strong willingness to learn.
- Availability to participate in scheduled training modules in the United States and plant-based development assignments.
