- Electronic Design Leader is accountable for the deliverables of his Metier to ensure the success of the project He / She is responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of his Metier activities, with support of Metier Department Manager / Metier Team Leader
- Manage the group of engineers / technicians assigned to his / her project.
- 7 to 8 years of experience in design automotive electronic, embedded systems, transportation industry
- Accountable for the deliverables of his Metier(s) :
- Complying with Métiers processes and Design Rules:
- Plan, monitor and control activities according to Metier PD of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management) & GAMA (SPICE)
- In charge of the robust design for Manufacturing / validation in line with the economic targets
- Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
- Perform or support design calculations / simulations / coding / associated acceptance tests
- Applies Standardization rules, exceptionally will request destandardizations based on justifications
- Responsible for Metier design reviews preparation and open points closure




- Interface with the customer for the Metier content
- Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Eng and his Hierarchical
- Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting
- Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments
- Establish detail breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones
- Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing
- Management of the contributors
- Daily management of his group
- Assign to them the needed work packages
- Regular review with his/her Hierarchical to check alignment between needs and availabilities
- Actively participate and accomplish in his or her role in all internal and external requirements related to Quality, Safety, Environmental, Customer, Governmental, and Social Responsibility management systems applicable to the activities of the position.
- The aforementioned activities are not limited and may be extended transversally to other functions as required by the organization.
