? Role Overview

- Position: Senior Citrix Engineer (3 Openings)
- Location: 100% Remote (Must reside in Mexico)
- Contract Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
- Compensation: Paid in USD ?
- Type: Engineering & • Architecture focus (Not operational L1/L2 support)

- Language Requirements: Advanced English & • Spanish

? Key Responsibilities

- Architecture & • Delivery:

Design, build, upgrade, and optimize large-scale enterprise CVAD (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops) and hybrid Citrix DaaS / Citrix Cloud environments.
- Migration Leadership: Plan and execute workload/user migrations between CVAD Sites, including pilot waves, testing, and rollback strategies.
- Provisioning & • Image Engineering:

Lead PVS and MCS image lifecycles (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022), reverse imaging, OS upgrades, and VMware Tools integration.
- Access & • Profile Optimization:

Configure StoreFront, Workspace app integration,



and optimize user profiles using Citrix UPM and FSLogix containers.
- Core Infrastructure & • Security:

Manage GPOs, Active Directory/IAM architectures, multi-domain trusts, DNS, Kerberos, and Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO integrations.
- Troubleshooting & • Optimization:

Conduct deep root-cause analysis across Citrix, VMware vSphere/vCenter, networking, and Windows ecosystems to reduce technical debt.

? Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of enterprise Citrix engineering experience in large-scale environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on Citrix infrastructure build/migration experience.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise in PVS, MCS, StoreFront, UPM/FSLogix, Active Directory, GPO, VMware vSphere, and Entra ID SSO.
- Strong capability to produce architecture standards, runbooks, and lead cross-functional technical teams.
