Position Overview

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our Finance Department. This role will support accounting operations, tax calculations, banking activities, and financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information in accordance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and update accounting records within the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support tax calculations, reconciliations, and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Prepare and consolidate financial and accounting reports for internal analysis and decision-making.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
- Review accounting entries, supporting documentation, and financial records.
- Assist with monthly closing activities and the preparation of periodic financial reports.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as required.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and follow up on corrective actions.




- Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation in accordance with internal policies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance-related positions.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
- Experience with accounting systems and financial information management.
- Working knowledge of tax calculations, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and month-end closing procedures.
- Knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting practices.
