ESSENTIAL REGISTRAR FUNCTIONS:

1. Manage daily operations of the Registrar’s Office to include maintenance of student enrollment paperwork, records and transcripts, organization of registration and drop procedures

2. Coordinates and controls new start folders and information for classes starting every two weeks.

3. Counsels and assists students with scheduling and attendance issues

4. Responsible for files containing grades, and processing leaves of absence, change of schedules, and academic probation and suspension

5. Processes Satisfactory Academic Progress reports to students with timely notification of grades and attendance.

6.Interprets and implements TDLR state regulations that relate to this area and properly administer them.

7. Provides weekly and monthly reports of enrollment and student data to Director and staff, to provide framework for decisions involving recruitment and retention. Provides a yearly comparison of starts, grads and drops

8.



Provides enrollment and anticipated graduation date data to the Director and responds to students and other agencies making requests for such data.

9. Serves as liaison for receiving and maintaining student high school graduation/GED records for the school.

10. Assures that graduation candidates meet all academic requirements of a certificate.

11. Responsible for schedule changes/graduation and drop process and notification to staff and faculty.

12. Responsible for student leave of absence and reinstatement procedures.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $5.00 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week

Education:

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

- clerical and computer: 3 years (Required)

- English and Spanish (Required)
