Optimus Steel is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern who is interested in strengthening their technical knowledge and gaining professional experience in the United States.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, electrical drawings, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Fluent conversational English – required.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily to the United States (J-1 visa).

Responsibilities:
• Support the Engineering Department with electrical projects and technical activities.
• Assist with field inspections and the preparation and review of electrical drawings and documentation.




• Support equipment installation and related electrical activities in the field.
• Assist with the coordination of activities with contractors and vendors.
• Support the Engineering team with technical documentation and project-related activities. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional experience in the United States, working closely with the Engineering team and gaining hands-on experience in an industrial environment. We manage your J-1 visa process. Candidates must be currently located in Mexico.
