To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager the Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting highly automated manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, optimizing, and commissioning SMT and Press-Fit equipment, ensuring reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. Troubleshot SMT and Press Fit equipment, identifying failures in electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Perform repairs, component replacements, adjustments, and fine tuning on advanced manufacturing equipment. Update daily equipment status, performance metrics, and downtime reports. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Perform calibrations and re qualifications (electrical, pneumatic, optical). Koh Young: SPI/AOI tuning, SPC analysis, false call reduction. Camalot: dispense volume control, epoxy handling, valve maintenance TE Connectivity Press Fit: force/displacement control, setup optimization, defect analysis Lead equipment start ups, testing, commissioning, and validations.



Document maintenance logs, corrective actions, and technical reports. Support audits, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. Train technicians, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to maintenance procedures. Promote safety, compliance, and best maintenance practices. BA/BS in Engineering or similar. Experience in equipment maintenance or manufacturing operations leadership. Experience with equipment installation and relocation. Advanced English (technical communication). Strong knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, mechanics, and automation. Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and SMT / Press-Fit manuals. Availability to work different shifts.
