We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer III – Frontend to join our engineering team, supporting high-traffic, customer-facing e-commerce applications. In this role, you will focus primarily on frontend development, building scalable, reliable, and high-performance web experiences across Checkout and Wishlist platforms, with occasional backend development using Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX, and Engineering, to deliver innovative solutions that improve customer experience, conversion, and overall platform performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Deliver end-to-end frontend features, from technical design and implementation to production support.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to shared frontend libraries.
• Translate business requirements, wireframes, and UX designs into high-quality, production-ready code.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and occasionally contribute to backend services using Java.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, security, and reliability.
• Monitor application health using observability tools, metrics, dashboards, and alerts.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining code quality.
• Follow software engineering best practices, including clean code, maintainability, and secure development. Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering.




• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, Golang, or Python.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, reusable components, and software design patterns.
• Experience implementing automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal. Nice to Have
• Experience developing high-traffic e-commerce applications.
• Hands-on experience with backend development using Java.
• Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of checkout flows, shopping carts, payment integrations, or customer-facing retail platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code.
• Familiarity with experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven product improvements.
