About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the FMCG food sector, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead their operations in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico. This critical role involves overseeing all aspects of the food production process, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of production planning, process optimization, and quality control within the fast-moving consumer goods industry. You will be responsible for managing the production team, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize daily production operations to meet output, quality, and cost objectives. Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to timelines. Oversee the production team, providing leadership, training, and performance management. Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and quality control procedures. Monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure all production machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition. Work closely with procurement, quality assurance, and logistics departments to ensure smooth operations.



Analyze production data to identify trends, improve yields, and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations. Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in production management, preferably within the food FMCG industry. Demonstrated experience in managing large production teams and complex manufacturing processes. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP) and quality management systems. Proven ability to implement lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience with cost control and budget management for production. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the vicinity of Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.
