About the Role

Our client, a dynamic player in the resource exploration and mining sector, is seeking a skilled Especialista en Geología Estructural Minera to contribute to their strategic initiatives. This role, based in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua , will focus on understanding and characterizing the structural controls of mineral deposits, which is crucial for effective exploration targeting and mine planning. The adecuado candidate will possess advanced knowledge of structural geology, field mapping techniques, and the application of structural data in 3D geological modeling. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed structural mapping and analysis of geological formations.
- Identify and characterize faults, folds, shear zones, and other structural features related to mineralization.
- Develop 3D structural models integrating field data, geophysical surveys, and drilling information.
- Assess the impact of structural geology on mine planning, stability, and resource estimation.
- Collaborate with exploration and mining teams to refine exploration targets and optimize mine designs.
- Interpret remote sensing data and geophysical anomalies related to structural controls.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on structural geology findings.
- Supervise geological technicians involved in structural data acquisition.




- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental protocols during field activities.
- Stay current with advancements in structural geology techniques and software.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Geology with a specialization in Structural Geology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural geology, with a strong focus on mineral exploration or mining geology.
- Proven experience in geological field mapping, data collection, and structural analysis.
- Proficiency in structural geology software and 3D modeling software (e.g., ArcGIS, Leapfrog Geo, Move).
- Strong understanding of tectonic settings and their influence on mineralization.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in challenging field conditions.
- Familiarity with Mexican geology and mining environments is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to scientific rigor.
