About the Role

Our client, a key player in the logistics and warehousing industry, is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operations Assistant to support the team at their facility in Torreón, Coahuila, MX . This entry-level to mid-level position is adecuado for someone eager to learn and grow within the logistics sector. You will assist in various warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail and willingness to learn will be crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and contributing to overall operational success. This is a hands-on, on-site role that is fundamental to the daily functioning of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against order documents.
- Help in organizing and stocking inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.




- Participate in inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Support senior warehouse staff with various operational tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus, but not strictly required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Basic understanding of inventory principles and warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (training will be provided for certified equipment).
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
