About the Role

Our client, a reputable developer known for its high-quality residential projects, is looking for a meticulous and experienced Construction Quality Inspector to join their team in Tijuana, Baja California . This role is critical in ensuring that all construction activities meet the company's stringent quality standards and comply with all applicable building codes and regulations. The idóneo candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to identify and document defects or deviations from plans. You will play a vital role in safeguarding the company's reputation for excellence and ensuring client satisfaction by verifying the quality of materials, workmanship, and finished products in new home construction. This is a hands‐on position that requires a proactive approach to quality assurance in the fast-paced construction environment of Tijuana .

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality of work at various stages.
- Verify that construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Identify, document, and report any non-conformities, defects, or potential issues.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and contractors to address and resolve quality concerns.




- Review and approve work completed by subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including reports, photos, and test results.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations on construction sites during inspections.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss quality control matters.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in construction or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in a quality control or inspection role.
- Thorough understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules effectively.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites.
- Familiarity with the construction landscape in Tijuana, Baja California is advantageous.
