About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mexico. The adecuado candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities of the food industry's supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to final delivery. You will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and the highest standards of quality and safety for our products. This role demands strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing all aspects of the food supply chain. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and timely delivery of our food products across various markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage strategies to optimize the food supply chain, from procurement to distribution.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms and ensure reliable service.
- Oversee inventory management and warehousing operations to minimize costs and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, quality standards, and import/export laws.
- Monitor and manage transportation and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, sales, operations) to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners.




- Implement technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, key metrics, and potential issues for senior management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management, with a significant focus on the food or beverage industry.
- Proven track record of successfully optimizing food supply chains and reducing costs.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP) and quality control standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
