7 years of experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer focused on automation.
Strong TypeScript JavaScript coding experience, with TypeScript preferred.
Strong handson experience with Playwright.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
Strong UI web automation experience. Environment is approximately 70 UI 30 API automation.
Experience creating and maintaining automated regression test suites.
Experience integrating automated testing into GitLab CI CD pipelines.
Experience with API and backend testing, including REST GraphQL.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and modern software engineering practices.
Strong troubleshooting and rootcause analysis skills.
Experience using AI coding tools for automation development, such as Cursor or Kiro.
Plusses
eCommerce experience, including checkout, payments, loyalty, or guestfacing applications.
BrowserStack experience. Sauce Labs experience is also relevant.
Previous software development experience or a strong development background.

This role is heavily focused on software development in support of test automation, automated regression testing, and CI CD integration.
The idóneo candidate is a strong handson engineer who can build automation frameworks, write highquality automation code, and improve quality and release velocity.

DaytoDay
Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites.
Develop automated UI, API, regression, integration, and endtoend tests.
Build primarily web UI automation while also supporting API automation.
Integrate automated testing into GitLab CI CD pipelines.
Partner with Developers, QA, Product, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
Analyze test failures, investigate defects, and improve automation reliability.
Support release readiness and automated quality gates.
Increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
