Join us and spearhead the charge toward a tech future that transcends the ordinary.Key Responsibilities:Support interdisciplinary projects involving large numbers of developers and consultants,while working very tightly with our internal IT Services teamIdentify automation opportunities and drive automation to increase database, data storesand data pipelines performance and value-addDrive and champion database best practices, their knowledge management and facilitate training to platform teams on database technologies and data integration methodologiesFacilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.Actively participate in accurate planning and estimation efforts, utilizing project methods and tools.Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients.Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities.Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture,



demonstrating autonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.Read and write Cloud Development Kit (CDK) code in Python to support infrastructure deployment.Minimum Qualifications:A minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas specified below*:SQL DatabaseSQL RDSNice to have postgresqlBuild database solutions of high availability and quality align to internal stakeholder requirementsConfigure, maintain, optimize databases and ensure data access and infrastructure controls are in place to safeguard against data losses and data breachesAssist developers in identifying and correcting database-related issues.
Support platform owners in driving efficiency of database procedures for responsible business applicationsDetermine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standardsManage and monitor DB performance, database health and security posturePerform regular database maintenance, patches, data quality checks and troubleshooting activitiesProficiency in the English language.Strong understanding of MS SQL Server architecture and administration.Good understanding of AWS services, specifically EC2 and RDS.Good understanding of related Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory.Location preference for candidates based in South and Central America.Additional Experience Desired:Unit TestingWorking in the AWS CloudQualifications:Bachelors or masters degree in software engineering, Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or related quantitative fieldAWS Certified:
