Ipsen seeks a Public Affairs Manager in Mexico City to develop and execute public affairs and policy strategies that shape favorable healthcare environments and enable patient access to innovative medicines. The role involves stakeholder engagement, policy monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to advance company objectives and mitigate regulatory risks.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement country-level public affairs strategy aligned with business and market access priorities
Build and maintain strategic relationships with government authorities, legislators, and industry associations
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess impact on business operations and market access
Develop policy positions and advocacy materials; coordinate engagement initiatives with external stakeholders
Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs,



and Legal teams to support reimbursement and procurement strategies
Requirements
Proven experience developing and executing public affairs or healthcare policy strategies
Strong understanding of healthcare, regulatory, and public policy environment
Experience building and managing relationships with government authorities and policymakers
Ability to monitor, analyze, and interpret legislative and regulatory developments
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and advocacy skills
Experience working cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams
Demonstrated ability to identify and manage policy and reputational risks
