Main Responsibilities

- Serve as the regional technical expert and primary point of contact for injection molding equipment, processes, and associated technologies across manufacturing sites.
- Lead the definition, deployment, and continuous improvement of injection molding equipment standards and best practices.
- Drive new equipment installation, equipment transfers, retrofits, capacity expansion projects, and major manufacturing investments from concept through successful plant handover.
- Analyze plant and project requirements, including capacity, process performance, layout, safety, and budget considerations, and recommend optimal technical solutions.
- Define technical specifications, evaluate suppliers, assess technical risks, and support sourcing decisions for injection molding equipment and related technologies.
- Act as the technical lead for equipment suppliers and cross-functional project teams, ensuring project objectives related to quality, cost, timing, and operational performance are achieved.
- Support manufacturing plants with advanced technical expertise, troubleshooting, process optimization, and implementation of new technologies.
- Validate equipment concepts, technical studies, risk assessments, and commissioning activities, ensuring safe and effective industrialization.
- Develop and maintain technical standards, contribute to supplier development, and promote innovation and benchmarking in injection molding technologies.
- Ensure successful transfer of knowledge, training, documentation, and best practices to plant teams during project execution and equipment launch.

Required Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Design, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in injection molding, tooling, process development,



industrialization, or manufacturing engineering environments.
- Strong expertise in injection molding equipment, tooling, automation, peripherals, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply rheology and process engineering studies.
- Experience leading capital projects, equipment transfers, plant expansions, or industrialization initiatives.
- Strong technical problem-solving and project management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering/design software tools.
- Fluent English communication skills and ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, purchasing, suppliers, and project teams.
- Availability to travel frequently within Mexico and US.
