About the Role Work in strategic partnership with the business to enable confident, informed decision making and protect what matters through integrated governance, risk, regulatory compliance, assurance and privacy insights. The GRC Business Partner is a trusted advisor and strategic enabler, embedding GRC thinking early in business decisions, challenging constructively, and translating GRC frameworks into practical, value adding outcomes. The role supports consistent application of GRC processes while remaining responsive to business context, change and risk appetite.

LEADERSHIP & CORPORATE EXPECTATIONS

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing clear, commercially aware GRC insight that supports timely and defensible decisions.
- Build strong, embedded relationships within the Trion team to earn a seat at the decision making table.
- Translate complex GRC concepts into practical, business relevant language and options.
- Proactively anticipate emerging risks, regulatory change and assurance implications rather than responding reactively.
- Balance support and challenge,



constructively questioning assumptions and decisions where required.

TECHNICAL – INTEGRATED GRC ACCOUNTABILITY
- Provide integrated GRC expertise across Governance, Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Assurance and Privacy, avoiding siloed application.
- Draw insights across GRC process areas and across the organisation to inform leaders of systemic issues, trends and opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between business risks, controls, assurance outcomes and enterprise level reporting (the “golden thread”).
- Champion data quality, completeness and integrity as an enabler of credible decision making.

RISK & ASSURANCE
- Enable consistent, high quality risk identification, analysis, evaluation and monitoring is provided for the Trion business, aligned with Woodside’s Risk Appetite.
- Facilitate risk and assurance conversations that focus on decision quality, not process compliance alone.
- Provide independent insight into the effectiveness of controls, assurance coverage and emerging risk themes.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & PRIVACY
- Support Woodside’s Mexico business group to understand and meet regulatory and privacy obligations across the lifecycle of business activities.
- Promote a strong compliance and speak up culture, positioning compliance as an enabler of sustainable business outcomes.
- Advise on regulatory change, non compliance events and privacy risks, ensuring timely escalation where required.

Skills and Experience Oil and gas experience strongly preferred

Understanding of complex governance frameworks and systems

English language proficiency required

Experience: 10 years +

Tertiary qualifications: Bachelor/Masters degree
