Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented International Logistics Specialist to join our operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating international freight shipments, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, managing documentation, and supporting customers throughout the shipping process. The idóneo candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities: International Freight Coordination

- Manage and coordinate international import and export freight shipments across ocean, rail, truck, LTL, and small package carriers.
- Route, quote, and book freight movements while ensuring all shipment requirements are met.
- Communicate with carriers and logistics partners to facilitate smooth shipment execution.

Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare, organize, and maintain shipping and customs documentation for international freight moves.
- Ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations and government requirements.
- Monitor shipments and maintain accurate records throughout the transportation process.

Customer & Partner Support

- Serve as a point of contact for customers, agents, and partners regarding shipment requirements and updates.
- Provide shipment tracking and status updates as needed.
- Support internal teams and external stakeholders by providing guidance on international shipping processes.

Administrative & Operational Support

- Maintain accurate shipment data and operational records.




- Assist with invoicing processes and documentation review.
- Research and evaluate logistics partners, carriers, and service providers to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transportation operations preferred.
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation requirements.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- International ocean or air operations experience.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS and import/export documentation processes.
- Experience working with freight booking, shipment coordination, and logistics documentation.

Pay: $10,837.65 - $20,714.82 per month
