Job Description
To contribute to our efforts and support the teams that build great products, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer‐SMT Technical Lead, located at Guadalajara North Campus. Reporting to the Process Manager, this role is responsible for supervising critical SMT processes, ensuring the correct execution of production plans, and leading the technical team to meet quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement objectives.
Extensive knowledge of the SMT process and its qualificationAnalysis of the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the productDefine, implement, and evaluate processes and toolingHave the capability to identify root causes of failuresHigh level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issuesPrepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for productionSupport the generation and introduction of engineering changes (ECOs)Establish robust,



and reproducible process or methodDevelop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologiesTroubleshooting process related issuesEvaluate and select materialsImplement statistical process analysisProductivity and yield improvementsImprove manufacturing techniques and through putDevelop and maintain process documentationTraining assists during new processes or technologiesProvide training support during the implementation of new processes or technologies.
Develop cost-reduction proposalsAnlyzing reliability tests such as: Engineering degreePrevius experience as a Process EngineerExperience in SMT, PTH, and Backend processes, SPI, edge bonding, and smart torque systemKnowledge of stencil design, reflow profiling, tooling/fixture design, and pallet validation.
Familiarity with IPC-A-610, CPK calculations, CAD/Gerber files, and MS Office.
